Chris Sandoval
Chris Sandoval is the 34 year old son of Melvin Sandoval & Jennifer Lunasee. He is related to the carvers Vernon, Ronnie & Reynold Lunasee, Fabian Tsethlikai, Rosella Soseeah & Prudencia Quam. Chris tells us that he loves carving jasper & finding unique stones that are not so commonly carved. He finds his stones on the web and from rock hounds and often times pays expensive prices to get them. Chris's work lies somewhere between the abstract and innovative carvers' work for he does inlay the eyes but like his father; he carves the form and then only the essential salient forms that make the animal unique. We can't wait to see how Chris's career develops - his future looks bright!
